Israel is ready to defend itself against a potential Iranian attack

Israel is preparing to face a potential attack from Iran in response to the recent raid conducted by the Jewish State. A military source, interviewed by CNN, stated that Israel is highly prepared to deal with any hostile actions coming from Iran. Meanwhile, three Iranian officials, cited by the New York Times, revealed that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has ordered the Supreme National Security Council to prepare for a possible attack against Israel.

According to the military source, the raids carried out by Israel have created a challenging situation for Tehran, limiting Iran’s ability to attack and defend against possible Israeli counteroffensives. The American newspaper reports that Khamenei made the decision to prepare for an attack after carefully evaluating a detailed report from military commanders on the consequences of the Israeli raid on Iranian missile production, air defense systems around Tehran, critical energy infrastructure, and a port in the south of the country.

The extent of the Israeli attack and the loss of four Iranian soldiers during the air strikes cannot be ignored, according to the cited Iranian officials. Not responding to these actions would mean admitting defeat.
