A.L.I.T.U.R. presents the 31st edition of the University-Work Forum in Rome
A.L.I.T.U.R. (Association of Engineering Graduates of Tor Vergata University in Rome) is pleased to present the 31st edition of the University-Work Forum, a Career-Day organized within the Engineering Macroarea of the University of Rome Tor Vergata. This event aims to bridge the gap between the University and the world of work, creating new job opportunities and strengthening the relationship between companies and the University.
With over thirty years of experience, the Association has continuously improved its services, focusing on high social and cultural interest issues, becoming one of the most important realities in Central-Southern Italy.
The Career-Day will take place throughout the day on May 14, 2024, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. Graduates, students, and companies will interact through various activities:
- Stand Areas, located along the building corridors, where companies can display their informational materials and present ongoing projects. Visitors can directly engage with HR representatives by submitting their resumes.
- Recruiting Match: participating companies will illustrate career opportunities within their organizations and allow candidates to participate in corporate Business Games to experience the work environment firsthand.
A CV check area will be set up for professionals to review visitors’ resumes and offer the opportunity to have a professional photo taken for their CVs. Interviews will be conducted during the event, allowing participants to share their experiences.
The event will open with speeches from the Magnificent Rector, Professor Nathan Levialdi Ghiron, and the President of the Association, Engineer Fabrizio Giamberardini. The startup Thesis 4u, represented by its founder Martina Spinoglio, will also be present. This emerging company has created a platform dedicated to company theses and graduate theses, aiming to connect companies and students to develop thesis projects, transforming them into company theses as a new recruitment tool for recent graduates.

Given the shared goals between A.L.I.T.U.R. and Thesis 4u, the latter will hold a conference on topics of interest to young visitors. The University-Work Forum has received recognition from various national and international entities in previous editions, including the European Parliament, the President of the Republic, and the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities. For this year, the event is endorsed by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, Lazio DISU, the Municipality of Rome, the President of the Lazio Regional Council, Municipality VI, UNINDUSTRIA, the Italian Youth Agency, the Ministry of Defense, the Order of Engineers of the Province of Rome, the Lazio Region, and the Ministry of Tourism.
